Springtime Bedroom Refresh
Happy National Sleep Day! Spring has sprung and among the many spring cleaning projects, this year we were due for a bedroom refresh. Our master bedroom design has been a work in progress over the past 3 years. We freshened up the paint color, hung artwork, and added a headboard along the way, but still had a few updates on our list. Wobbly bedsides tables, non existent drapery, an outdated duvet cover were some of the outstanding items. We have had the same blue and white chinoiserie duvet cover for the last 8-9 years and while it held up nicely it was nearing the end of its lifespan.
Crane and Canopy swept in at just the right time as we had recently begun searching for alternatives. I had always seen advertisements for their linens and heard good things from my friends, but never tried them for myself. They have a variety of styles to chose from on their site, but I had to go with the Larkin blue stripe duvet cover with matching shams. I knew it would compliment our other linens nicely and with its classic style we can hold onto it for years to come. It only took one night of sleeping with them to know I’d be hooked, so incredibly soft and well made.
And for the icing on the cake, I slept in their new Layla pajama sleep set, which is so comfortable they’re almost impossible to take off. The perfect balance of stylish yet comfortable loungewear. I’m officially a Crane & Canopy convert and I’m already eyeing more of their bedding. I’m sharing some favorites with you all below!
