Outdoor Lounge Furniture

With the change in weather here in CT, I have one thing on my mind- being outdoors. We’ve been cooped up over the past couple months during quarantine and given the uncertainty around this summer we want to enjoy outside as much as possible. We brought over an outdoor dining and conversation set from our previous house for the new backyard, but our new front porch is currently empty.

Our front lawn is open and level, which is more fun with the kids to run, play tag, etc. versus our backyard which is a bit hilly with a pool taking up a good portion of the space. We’re shopping for a comfortable yet stylish lounge sofa for the front porch as we know we’ll spend more time out there with someplace to put our feet up.

We’re trying to be mindful of budget given these times and we always have a hard time spending a small fortune on furniture that lives outside and inevitably ends up wearing down quickly. We love so many fabulous styles, but we’re first and foremost trying to practical.

This week I’m focusing on outdoor lounge (primarily sofas and chairs) and there will be outdoor dining post to come. Enjoy and here’s to a brighter summer!
