Nightstands

Today I’m sharing a nightstand round up for you all. I’ve been on the hunt for a new pair for our master bedroom as we left the previous ones with our old house. I’ve been searching for something neutral since we plan to relocate from our current master bedroom in the future and want keep things versatile. I’ll be sure to keep you all updated on the final decision.
A few things to consider when nightstand shopping:

Space- Just like with everything else in decorating, you’ll want to measure, measure, and re-measure! How much space do you want between the bed and table? Or the table and wall? Are you someone who keeps a lot of items on their bedside table (lamp, clock, chargers, etc)?

Symmetry- Traditionally, bedrooms have been designed having matching nightstands on either side of the bed and even to match the other pieces in the room like the dresser, vanity, etc. Nowadays, it isn’t uncommon to mix things up with maybe a dresser on one side and a small side table on the other. I’m still a sucker for nightstand symmetry, but it doesn’t work in every case. Take into consideration your plans for bedding, the headboard as well as other surrounding elements.
Height- Ideally, you’ll want to find nightstands that are even with the top of your mattress. Many nightstands are on the low end, but when in doubt go a bit higher.
Storage- Ask yourself how much storage you’ll want in a bedside table. Maybe it’s a smaller space and your unable to have a separate dresser or wardrobe in the room, you might want to find a dresser nightstand. If you only keep a few things next to your bed, you may only need a small table with one drawer or none at all.

You’ll find a lot of faux bamboo, rattan, refurbished antiques, etc below. As for colors it’s mostly neutral with a few pops of color, because let’s face it I can’t help myself! Enjoy the collection.
